Solution of compatibility issue faced by Windows 8 users during installing BitTorrent Surf.
For adding the BitTorrent Surf (Beta) extension to the chrome on Windows 8 here's what you need to do:-
- Switch to desktop mode.
- Then open Google Chrome Properties by right clicking on the Chrome's icon and select Properties from the options
- When the Google Chrome Properties Dialog box appears open the Compatibility Tab
- In this tab under the compatibility mode section choose Windows 7 as shown below
- Then click on OK and then reopen the download link for the chrome users from below and you will see that the extension is now compatible.
- Now you can easily add the extension to your browsers.
