After installing you have to configure the Orbot and Tor on your device. Cause simple installing will not automatically anonymize our mobile data.
Now, to enable advance options like Transparent proxying you need to have a rooted device. If you provide root access to Orbot you can configure the installed Apps to work with it.

However, if you do not have a rooted device or in case you did not provide it 'Superuser' access. In order to benefit from Tor, you will need to use Apps built to work with Orbot, or that supports HTTP or SOCKS proxy settings. SO, in this case you can either download 'Orweb' a browser made to work with Tor. Or you can download the add-on of firefox to make it work with Tor.

Orweb as in our opinion is just a basic browser and might not seems appealing enough in front of chrome or Firefox. So our recommendation is use the Firefox add-on to access net through Tor. But in this case too, remember to disable the proxy when not using Tor.
