Before we start you will need three main things :
1. A rooted android device

Steps to create fake DP(Default Pic) for any whatsapp contact

Step 1: Open your Whatsapp, search the contact whose DP you want to change and note down his/her phone number with country code but without '+' sign. Also open up the Default pic of contact to create an entry in the sdcard.

Step 2: Take an image (should have extension .jpg) that you want to set as the DP for the contact and create two images one of size 640 X 640 pixels(you can choose any value but image should be square) and other of size 96 X 96 pixels, if you don't know how to crop and resize a image read this tutorial : How to crop and resize an image in Microsoft paint

Step 3: Now rename the image of size 640 X 640 by the phone number noted in step 1. Rename the second image of size 96 X 96 by [phone_number]@s.whatsapp.net.j [phone_number] represent the number noted down in the step one. While renaming the second image you have to change the extension of .jpg image to just .j 

Step 4: Copy both the images into your phone. 

Step 5: Now disable/freeze Whatsapp from the system using Link2SD/Titanium Backup/ Other. Also turn off your mobile network/ wifi.

Step 6: First we need to change the thumbnail of the contact to do that first of all make sure your file explorer have root access. Now copy the image [phone_number]@s.whatsapp.net.j and paste it at /data/data/com.whatsapp/files/Avatars. If it ask permission to replace the old image click on Yes.

Now defrost the frozen Whatsapp using Link2SD/Titanium Backup/ Other to check that thumbnail of the contact is changed.

Note : Skip Step 7 if the contact does not have any DP because in that case we can only change the thumbnail and don't click on the thumbnail to enlarge the DP of the contact as this will result in removal of the thumbnail that you pasted  in Step 6.

Step 7: Locate Whatsapp folder( it could be in phone memory or sdcard) after that copy the image of size 640 X 640 and paste it to Whatsapp/Profile Pictures. If it ask permission to replace the old image click on Yes. This location store the images that appear when we click on the small thumbnail of the contact.

Step 8: Now defrost the frozen Whatsapp using Link2SD/Titanium Backup/ Other.

Titanium Backup Root Access Failed : Solved

Titanium Backup is one of the most used app for rooted android. It provides a large number of features like backing up all your apps(with data), contacts, saved WiFi password, freeze, defrost, conversion of user app to system app, uninstall of any app and a lot more. Yesterday when I started my Titanium Backup app it was unable to get Root privilege, other root based application were working perfectly fine. Here are the screenshots of the problem.

Steps To Solve Titaninum Backup Root Access Failed

1. First of all check other root application on your device to make sure that the problem is only happening in Titanium Backup App. If it is happening with all of your root application re-install and update the superuser application. Sometimes the problem is solved by a simple restart, so make sure you restart your device before trying the steps given steps below.
2. Now that we have make sure that the problem is related only to Titanium Backup and simple restart is not gonna solve it. I want you to go to Settings option of your android and open up the Apps option that contains the information and operation related to all the applications present in your device.

3. In Apps go to Downloaded present on the top and search for Titanium Backup app in the list of downloaded apps.

4. Select the option Clear data present below the storage information of Titanium Backup. This will not affect any of the backups you have created using Titanium Backup in your device so no need to worry about a thing.

How to Root BlueStacks(ver 0.7.x.y)

Yeah you read it right guys , you can root BlueStacks too.This is because BlueStacks as you know is an Android Emulator and has a Android OS running on it and like any other Android Mobile, BlueStacks can also be rooted.Its very easy to root BlueStacks just follow the following steps.
Requirements:-

Steps to follow:-

1. First of all we need to End all processes related to BlueStacks App Player.In the image below all the processes in the red box are needed to be closed by Selecting the Processes and then clicking on End Process.
   
   
2. After killing the processes,you have to change the folder options,for that you have to Open Computer then go to Organize and then click on Folder and search options. In the dialogue box select the radio button saying Show hidden files,folders and drives and click on OK.
   
   
3. Then go to path C:\ProgramData\BlueStacks\Android and backup the Root.fs file as we are going to replace this file later.
   
4. Now, extract the zip file you downloaded from the link given above .Then open the extracted folder and then double click on the Bluestacks RootEZ.exe. It will ask for Administrative Rights so Click on OK.
   Then in the opened window firstly click on Automatic Detect from Installed BlueStacks button or you can browse if you had installed BlueStacks in other location.
   After that Check the checkbox saying "Enlarge System (Root.fs) Size to 400MB" as shown and then click on I'm Ready for Step 1 button.
   
5. Now , wait for the step 1 to complete.Only when you see a black window saying console login, you will click on the Go for Step 2 button but yeah don't close this Commmand Prompt type window shown below before clicking on the button for the next step, that window will automatically close when step 2 has been completed.
   
6. Then go to the output folder which is in the same folder from where you opened the Bluestacks RootEZ.exe file and then copy Root.fs file
   
7. Now, again to C:\ProgramData\BlueStacks\Android path and then replace the Root.fs file there, with the file you just copied in the above step.
   That's it your BlueStacks is now Rooted.

Steps to confirm the Rooting

1. Launch BlueStacks
2. Install an application named Root Checker Basic in the BlueStacks.

3. After installing the Application open it.The application must ask for the Root Permission as shown below.

Steps to create a fake conversation on Whatsapp for any contact present on your Whatsapp.

Step 1: Open your Whatsapp, search the contact whose "messages you want to change" or "create a fake conversation" and note down his/her phone number with country code but without '+' sign. Also note down the number of any contact with whom you have a real conversation whatsapp (needed to create a fake conversation). Here are the screenshot of two chats with Sam(gonna create fake conversation for this contact) and Raj(Whatsapp chat of this contact is used).

Step 2: Now disable/freeze Whatsapp from the system using Link2SD/Titanium Backup/ Other. This step is necessary because without it the SQLite Editor will give an error "database locked".

Step 3: Open EsFile Explorer/ Root Explorer / Other and go to /data/data/com.whatsapp. Now select the databases from the folders present at /data/data/com.whatsapp. A list of databases having extention .db will appear in front of you.

Step 4: Open the database msgstore.db using SQLite Editor and select messages third in msgstore.db. If you are a explorer app other than Root Explorer you might face problem opening up msgstore.db file in that case directly open up SQLite Editor from the app drawer and search for Whatsapp, open up Whatsapp in the SQLite Editor and select msgstore.db after that select messages .

If you are editing only the messages of whatsapp conversation you can go down to step 7, if you want to create a fake conversation that never happened keep on reading
Step 5: Search the contact number noted in step 1 with whom you have a real conversation by using the search button present on the top in SQLite Editor. List of conversation with that contact will appear in front of you.

Step 6: Select a record from the list, the search button will change into edit button(pencil). Click on edit button, find the key_remote_jid field which have a format number@s.whatsapp.net and change the value of number in number@s.whatsapp.net to the phone number noted in step one for creating a fake conversation. Repeat this step for several record.

NOTE: Messages send by you in real conversation will become the message send by you in fake conversation and message received by you will become the message received by you in fake conversation.

Step 7: Search the contact number noted in part one of step 1 in SQLite Editor by using the search button present on top. A list of record will appear in front of you.
Step 8: Select the record whose whatsapp message you want to edit, the search button will change into the edit button(pencil)as soon as you select the record. Click on the edit button and find the data field which contains the message. Change this message to whatever you want to.

NOTE: Time of message will not change.
Step 9: Now defrost the frozen Whatsapp using Link2SD/Titanium Backup/ Other, open the Whatsapp search your contact on the Select Contacts(present on the top left corner in whatsapp).

NOTE:Fake conversation will not appear on home screen if don't have any old conversation with that contact, but you will be able to see the fake conversation by selecting the contact though Select Contacts(present on the top left corner in whatsapp) .

Step 1: Open your Whatsapp, search the contact whose status you want to change and note down his/her phone number.

Step 2: Now disable/freeze Whatsapp from the system using Link2SD/Titanium Backup/ Other. This step is necessary because without it the SQLite Editor will give an error "database locked".

Step 4: Open the database wa.db using SQLite Editor and select wa_contacts (last one).

Step 6: The app will take a while to search the records present in wa_contact. As soon as you select the record the search button of SQLite Editor will change into a edit button(pencil).

Disable And Enable App Using Link2SD

Link2sd is a root whose main purpose is to move applications to the SD card. It also provides native app to SD (app2sd) features on Android 2.2 and higher. It can move any non-protected user apps to SD card (force move), with batch moving capability. While moving app to sdcard is the main purpose of Link2SD, it can also be used for disable/freeze and enable/unfreeze any of the system or user app present in the android device. The app that has been frozen by the Link2sd will no longer be visible in the application drawer and it will appear as if the app is no longer installed on the system. The unfreeze operation is used to enable the frozen app. The frozen app will re-appear in the application drawer after the unfreeze operation of link2SD.

Freeze/Disable App Using Link2SD

Step 1: Open the Link2SD app from the application drawer. A list of application will appear in front of you as shown below.

Step 2: Select the application you want to want to freeze/disable from the system. Two options will appear, first one is Move to SD card and second is Actions as soon as you select the application in Link2SD.

Step 3: Select the Actions option a list of operations will appear in front of you, find and select the Freeze operation the list.

Defrost/Enable App Using Link2SD

Step 1: Select the frozen app from the list of application on Link2SD.

Step 2: Again select the Actions from the two options and then select the Unfreeze option from the list of operations.
